About Us

Orchard Farm Dogs is a small, home-based dog boarding and daycare service on the outskirts of Cheltenham.

Our daycare and boarding are based at our home, Orchard Farm in Bentham with myself (Amy), my husband (Chris), our two children, (Sophie and Seb), and our own dogs – so there’s always lots of fun (and wagging tails) around. Days here are simple and consistent. Dogs have space to roam in our enclosed garden and plenty of time to explore the field. They are given daily walks in the surrounding countryside.

After walks, muddy paws are part of the deal – visiting dogs are safely transported home in our vehicle and then washed with warm water before settling back in at home.
Inside, things are kept calm and predictable. Dogs sleep downstairs and quickly find their comfortable spots. They are given space and attention to rest, play, train, cuddle or just be.

I have had dogs all my life and am used to a wide range of breeds and temperaments. Every dog is treated as an individual, and we take the time to understand what helps them feel most comfortable.

We keep numbers limited and only take dogs that are well suited to our home environment, so that the space stays balanced and stress-free for everyone.
We are not a kennel – we are a home. The aim is simple, to allow your dog to feel safe, settled and well looked after while they’re here.
