1. General

By booking services with Orchard Farm Dogs, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
These terms are in place to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of all dogs in our care.

2. Service Provided

We offer:

🐶 Home Dog Boarding
🐶 Daycare
🐶 Dog walking (as part of the daycare service)

All dogs are cared for in a home environment and may interact with other dogs unless agreed otherwise.

3. Booking and Payment

🐶 Bookings are confirmed once payment is received
🐶 Full payment must be made prior to the start of the booking unless otherwise agreed
🐶 Prices are subject to change but confirmed bookings will not be affected

4. Cancellations

🐶 Cancellations or rescheduled bookings made with 7 days or more notice will receive a full refund minus fees
🐶 Cancellations bookings made with less that 7 days notice will receive 50% refund minus fees. Rescheduled bookings may be permitted.
🐶 Cancellations Less than 48 hours or no shows are non refundable. Rescheduled bookings will not be permitted.

5. Trial Stays

We may require a trial session before accepting new dogs for boarding.
We reserve the right to decline bookings if we feel the environment is not suitable for your dog or our family.

All dogs are subject to ongoing assessment during their stays. Even if a trial session has been completed, we reserve the right to end a booking if a dog does not settle, is aggressive or is not suitable for the environment.

It is the owners responsibility to arrange collection if requested.

6. Dog Health and Vaccinations

Owners must confirm that their dog:

🐶 is fully vaccinated (including kennel cough where appropriate)
🐶 is up to date with flea, tick and worm treatments
🐶 is in good health at the time of boarding

We reserve the right to refuse admission to any dog showing signs of illness.

7. Behaviour and Suitability

All dogs must be suitable for a home boarding environment:

Owners must confirm that their dog:

🐶 is non-aggressive
🐶 is toilet trained
🐶 can be left for short periods without distress
🐶 does not display excessive barking or destructive behaviour
🐶 Socialised and comfortable around other dogs (unless agreed otherwise)

Dogs must be comfortable in a home setting and able to settle appropriately.

Dogs must be able to settle through the night downstairs.

Owners must disclose any behavioural traits, including but not limited to:

🐶 Aggression or reactivity
🐶 Separation anxiety
🐶 Excessive barking
🐶 Resource Guarding
🐶 Escaping or recall issues
🐶 History of biting
🐶 Destructive tendencies

Failure to disclose relevant behaviour may result in early termination of the booking without refund.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON SUITABILITY

If a dog shows behaviour that:

🐶 Poses a risk to people or other animals
🐶 Causes significant disruption to the household
🐶 Cannot be safely managed in a home environment

We reserve the right to:

🐶 End the booking early
🐶 Require immediate collection of the dog

No refund will be given in these circumstances.

Emergency and veterinary care

In the event of illness or injury:

🐶 we will attempt to contact you immediately
🐶 If necessary, we will seek veterinary treatment without prior approval

All veterinary costs incurred are the responsibility of the owner.

Liability

While all reasonable care is taken, dogs are boarded at the owner’s risk.

Orchard Farm Dogs is not liable for:

🐶 Illness, injury, or death unless caused by proven negligence
🐶 Loss or damage to personal items (beds, toys, leads, etc.)
🐶 Normal wear and tear or minor injuries typical of group play

Damage caused by dogs

Owners are responsible for any damages caused by their dog to:

🐶 Property
🐶 Furnishings
🐶 Other animals

Costs may be charged where appropriate.

Collection and Late Pick Up

🐶 Dogs must be collected at the stated time for the session booked. Early drop off or late pickup may be agreed in advance
🐶 Un-agreed late collection may incur additional charges
🐶 If a dog is not collected and no contact is made, we reserve the right to take appropriate action

Photos and Updates

We may take photos or videos of dogs in our care and share updates with owners.

These may also be used for website, marketing or social media unless you request otherwise.

Data Protection

Your personal data is handles in accordance with our privacy policy.

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services at any time if:

🐶 A dog poses a risk to others
🐶 Information provided is inaccurate or incomplete
🐶 Terms and conditions are not met
🐶 Unwanted or inappropriate behaviour is displayed.
🐶 Our staff are treated with unkindness
